WWE taped this week’s WWE Smackdown tonight from the Sap Center in San Jose, California. Below are full results:
WWE Smackdown (Airing on SyFy):
* The Wyatt Family opens the show in the ring. Bray Wyatt discusses his Ring of Fire match with Kane at SummerSlam. He is interrupted by Kane’s pyro, and Kane attacks The Wyatts from behind. The Wyatts get the upper hand and the brawl ends with the Wyatt Family standing tall over Kane.
* Christian b. Damien Sandow. After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacked Christian. Del Rio went for the Cross Armbreaker, but Christian countered and hit the Killswitch.
* AJ Lee & Layla b. Kaitlyn & Natalya
* The Big Show, Rob Van Dam & Mark Henry b. The Shield
* The Miz b. Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter & Antonio Cesaro with a roll-up.
* Curtis Axel w/ Paul Heyman b. Zack Ryder. After the match, Heyman cut a promo on CM Punk.
* Daniel Bryan b. Wade Barrett in a No Disqualification match. Numerous weapons were used over the course of the match. Mr. McMahon came to the ring during the match, and when Bryan applied the Yes Lock to Barrett, McMahon pulled the referee out of the ring. This distracted Bryan and allowed Barrett to hit a Bullhammer Elbow. McMahon called for Brad Maddox to come count the pin, but Bryan kicked out. Maddox refused to count when Bryan made a pin attempt. Bryan put Barrett through a table in the corner, and Maddox got knocked out. Triple H came out in a referee shirt and made the 3-count after Bryan hit a flying headbutt. After the match, Randy Orton‘s music hit and Orton stared down Bryan to end the show.
