Why You Can't Miss Smackdown ? | August 9, 2013

What will The Beast say to The Best?

Monday on Raw, Brock Lesnar busted his way into CM Punk’s matchup against Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel, stopping their fierce pre-pay-per-view brawl in its tracks with an earth-shattering F5 on The Second City Saint.
Don’t miss SmackDown tonight, when The Anomaly grants a rare exclusive interview – just nine days before “The Beast vs. The Best” showdown at SummerSlam.

Can the RKO ground RVD?

One week ago, Randy Orton and RVD fell short in a wicked Triple Threat World Title No. 1 Contender slugfest against Christian. With temperatures still running extremely high over the outcome, two of WWE’s most explosives forces will now collide one-on-one.

Perhaps no Superstar on the SmackDown roster is as dangerous as WWE’s Apex Predator. Even so, it remains to be seen whether the serpentine onslaught of Mr. Money in the Bank can stop the awe-inspiring attack of the ECW Original.

Who’ll get cut down when “The Beard” battles his “barber?”

Four days ago on Raw, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon enlisted the shaving skills of one Wade Barrett in an attempt to give Daniel Bryan’s trademark beard a “corporate makeover.” However, the No. 1 contender to John Cena’s WWE Championship had makeover plans of his own, instead relieving the bare-knuckled brawler of his facial hair in humiliating fashion.

What will happen tonight when “The Beard” faces the full wrath of The Barrett Barrage hell-bent on hair-raising vengeance?

Will love be confirmed on “Miz TV”?

Tonight, "Miz TV" returns to SmackDown with special guests Divas Champion AJ Lee and Big E Langston.

In the midst of AJ’s continued run-ins with the likes of her ex-boyfriend Dolph Ziggler and former titleholder Kaitlyn as of late, her “friendship” with Langston has seen its share of awkward moments. Could the outspoken host of SummerSlam turn awkward … awesome? Find out tonight on Syfy at 8/7 CT!

How will Del Rio rebound from a huge loss?

On Raw, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio was pinned by Rob Van Dam, a defeat that made him so enraged that he attacked his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez.
With only nine crucial days until he will battle No. 1 contender Christian at SummerSlam – the very same Superstar who beat him for the World Title in 2011 – how will the Mexican titleholder regain momentum after such a costly detour?
