WWE taped this week’s WWE Smackdown tonight from the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.. Below are full results:
WWE Smackdown (Airing on SyFy):
* The Big Show opens the show with a promo about “almost losing it” on Raw. He is interrupted by Triple H, who changes Big Show’s match to a 4-on-1 handicap match: Big Show vs. The Shield & Randy Orton.
* Rob Van Dam w/ Ricardo Rodriguez b. Fandango w/ Summer Rae after Summer Rae interfered. After the match, RVD hit a Van Terminator on Fandango.
* Ryback w/ Paul Heyman & Curtis Axel b. R-Truth. After the match, Axel attacks R-Truth.
* Alberto Del Rio b. Dolph Ziggler by submission. Damien Sandow was on commentary for the match.
* Los Matadores w/ El Torito b. Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal
* It is announced that Curtis Axel will defend his Intercontinental Championship against R-Truth at WWE Battleground.
* Paul Heyman cuts a promo about how Ryback will defeat CM Punk at Battleground.
* Brie Bella w/ Nikki Bella b. Aksana. After the match, AJ Lee comes out with Tamina and says that she’s going to do to Brie what Randy Orton is going to do to Daniel Bryan at Battleground.
* Kofi Kingston b. Big E Langston with a roll-up.
* Bray Wyatt cuts a promo.
* The Big Show b. The Shield & Randy Orton by disqualfication when Orton brought a chair into the ring. Daniel Bryan & The Usos ran down to make the save, and they celebrated to end the show.
