Despite his win on RAW to retain his Intercontinental Championship, Curtis Axel is expected to drop the IC gold sooner than later. It is said that he will remain with Paul Heyman for a while as WWE feels the two have worked well together.
But Axel has not been great as champion and Big E. Langston may be taking it from him. WWE is focusing on pushing larger talent, which means Langston could be set to become IC Champ to see how well he can do as a singles champion. If he succeeds with the title, more could come his way.
