PWInsider is reporting that while CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were taken out by the Wyatt Family on Monday Night RAW, this was not initially the plan. Originally, Punk and Bryan were scheduled to clash with The Shield.
However, as the script for Monday’s episode was re-written, WWE decided to place the Wyatt Family in a high-profile feud to right the ship with them. There was a sense they had blown a shot with him debuting, and now there is an opportunity to showcase his talents.
The Wyatt Family is expected to take this program into Survivor Series.
