WWE Smackdown (Airing 1/3/14 On SyFy):
* The Shield opens the show with a promo.
* The Usos b. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns by disqualification when Dean Ambrose interfered. The Shield attacked The Usos until CM Punk ran out to make the save. Vickie Guerrero came out and made a 6-man tag match for tonight.
* R-Truth b. Fandango. During the match, The Funkadactyls appeared on the stage, distracting Fandango and allowing R-Truth to get the win.
* Backstage, Big E Langston discusses Brock Lesnar attacking Mark Henry on Raw (this episode of Smackdown will air after this week’s live Raw). Curtis Axel walks up to set up a match between the two.
* Goldust & Cody Rhodes b. Erick Rowan & Luke Harper to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.
