WWE Releases Statement on WWE Network Troubles

Have you had issues with signing up to the WWE Network? Have you had to endure hours long wait just to access or sign up? If that’s the case you’re not alone as many in the WWE Universe have experienced that sort of problem throughout the day. It seems the servers the WWE are using are getting overwhelmed by the shear number of fans that are all signing up at the same time.
The WWE released a statement in regards to the Network’s troubles:
Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), WWE’s technology partner, was overwhelmed and their systems have been unable to process most orders since 9 a.m. ET due to demand for WWE Network. MLBAM has been working aggressively to resolve this issue. Your order will be processed as soon as possible.
Some cannot get to the Network on their computer. It just keeps telling them to download the app or buy the subscription to the network after they already have made the purchase. Some decided to do the free trial, and every time they attempt to click on a video they seem to get: “Media Error: Not Available.” Some attempted to watch the video on the WWE Network but got the error then they switched to their gaming consoles only to discover their account is not recognized.
As I video gamer I’ve experienced similar issues with games such as Sim City, Grand Theft Auto V and many other games. Sometimes it takes days to weeks for the makers of the game to resolve and fix the issues. Sometimes they would have to buy, or build more servers to be able to handle the amount of gamers whom want to play. That may be a solution that the WWE and the Major League Baseball Advanced Media may have to consider to meet the demand of fans signing up to the Network.
Overall the signing up, payment processing, and lagging on demand content issues will be frustrating but in a way it’s a good thing. It’s a sign that the WWE Universe wants the WWE Network, and that there are an untold number of people whom are signing up as I type this article. Hopefully the WWE works to resolve the issues at hand, and everyone can enjoy the Network without any problems.
