According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shane McMahon is expected to be at Wrestlemania 30. The feeling as of now is that he will be backstage in New Orleans for the show, but it doesn’t look like he will be appearing on camera.

That is particularly interesting since it has been reported that WWE has reached out to a number of big names to appear in cameos at the show. So, it wouldn’t be surprising in the slightest to see Shane O’Mac, or whoever it is making that decision, change their mind.

Shane McMahon has not appeared on WWE television since October 16, 2009 when the company announced that Shane resigned from his position in the company. At the time, this came as a big shock because it was believed that he would take the reigns of the company alongside Stephanie McMahon and Triple H when Vince McMahon was no longer capable of steering the ship.

Since leaving WWE, Shane McMahon pursued a number of business ventures outside of the professional wrestling world and was believed to try to make his own mark in the world, but has lately had some negative press.

While Shane has distanced himself from the professional wrestling business in the last four and a half years since his departure, there are many fans that would surely love to see him make a cameo appearance next Sunday on the Wrestlemania broadcast.

Perhaps to go along with the current Authority storyline, Shane McMahon could have some sort of backstage faceoff with either his brother in-law Triple H or Triple H’s opponent, Daniel Bryan.
