Daniel Bryan Discusses CM Punk And His Career

Daniel Bryan had an interview with Matt Dery of Detroit Sports 105.1 before this Tuesdays Smackdown tapings
Being content with his career:
“I don’t ever think in terms of ‘making it.’ Success is a funny thing, because as soon as you reach one goal you have other goals. And that’s in any business. If you would’ve asked me before I even got to WWE if I had made it just based on my independent career in wrestling internationally, I would say to you, ‘Yeah.’ Even if that was the end of it, I didn’t have to do anything but put on spandex tights and go out and wrestle in front of people.”
CM Punk:
“Honestly I don’t know that much. I haven’t heard from him since he left. The company hasn’t really released anything other than he’s no longer with the company right now. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.”
On MSU adopting his “Yes!” Chant:
…That’s such a cool thing to have happen for me… Travis (Jackson)  and I actually messaged back and forth on twitter a couple of times, like in the direct message thing, and I think what he did was so cool. That’s such a cool thing to have happen for me, you what I mean? He said there was a USA Today article on the Yes thing transferring into other sports, and all that other kind of stuff, and they interviewed Travis, and he said how cool it was for him to do it. It was very cool for me to watch, because that is something that’s beyond me, right? Like, that is because of something that I did or something that I do, but I am not the cause of that, the people are the cause of that…and how that happens you can’t even explain, it’s a mystery.
Daniel Bryan is an extremely talented athlete, who has easily become one of the most well-known wrestlers in the world.  He began wrestling in high schools and gyms, before slowing moving up the ranks into where he is today. Bryan easily has one of the more storybook careers we’ve ever seen in wrestling, and his recent popularity is the culmination of an entire career’s worth of work. If anyone deserves to be a top guy in the WWE, it’s Daniel Bryan.
The entire interview can be seen here.
