The situation involving CM Punk is a complicated one, with many differing opinions on how it should be handled. Reportedly, Triple H wants to just let Punk go, because he doesn’t like the way he’s handling things, and doesn’t want to send the wrong message to other talent. But one returning Hall of Famer would love nothing more than to see CM Punk back in the WWE, sooner rather than later. TMZ caught up to Hulk Hogan as he was travelling, and asked what he thought about the CM Punk situation
I don’t know anything about it. You know what I hope? I hope he’s on short vacation, probably in Hawaii or somewhere.
CM Punk made major waves back in January after walking out on the WWE, due to being passed up on a major title angle for WrestleMania’s main event. Previous reports have indicated that CM Punk feels he is entering the twilight of his career, and one of this unaccomplished goals is to headline a WrestleMania Pay-Per-View. The story is that once he found out he was being pegged into an angle where he would face Triple H at the event, he got fed up with everything and went home. He has not been seen on WWE TV since the January 20th episode of Raw where he clashed with Kane.
