January 24th, the WWE Universe will converge in Orlando, Florida at the
Amway Center for the twenty-ninth annual Royal Rumble event where the
most exciting match of the year will highlight the night as fans will
find out just who will beWWE World Heavyweights Champion.
The unpredictability of the Royal Rumble provides a sudden rush of lost passion for all those who have become bored with WWE. The Rumble excites and like an old junkie returning to the dark allies to reacquaint with an old habit, the Rumble can bring back the most jaded of wrestling fans.
Sami Zyan
On the May 4 episode of Raw, Zayn made a cameo after he was introduced by Bret Hart as John Cena's opponent for his weekly "U.S. Open Challenge" for his United States Championship taking place in his hometown of Montreal, Zayn was heavily favored by the crowd over Cena, but ultimately lost the match ,Zayn had suffered a shoulder injury and would undergo an MRI for further analysis, which he legitimately injured before the match even started.
After a seven month hiatus, Zayn returned from injury on the December 23 episode of NXT (taped at the NXT TakeOver: London event on December 16), and defeated Tye Dillinger.
It has been a long time coming for Samoa Joe, but he has finally signed a deal with WWE.
On May 20, 2015, at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, Joe made his debut as a face, during the main event after stopping Kevin Owens from attacking an injured Sami Zayn with a steel chair.
Since his debut fans asked (begged) WWE to promote him to the main roster as soon as possible, And for WWE Royal Rumble is all about surprises.
Finn Balor
Finn Balor is ready for the main roster but continues to age in the WWE farm system. It’s time to take the foot off the break and allow Balor to enter the main roster full speed ahead. What better way to introduce him than at the Royal Rumble?
Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle has announced his “retirement” from TNA, but that doesn’t mean that Angle is hanging up his boots entirely, as the possibility of a WWE return looms for “Your Olympic Hero.”
His contract with TNA ends on January 31 ,2016 ,Seven days after the Royal Rumble PPV
WWE fans have been wanting Kurt Angle back for year; like an old love that got away. Sure, the “You Suck!” chants would echo while his music played but it would be coming from a place of admiration.
Jeff Hardy
The rumours regarding Jeff Hardy and a WWE return have been circulating lately as Hardy is yet another former Superstar who WWE fans have not forgotten. Hardy has had his troubles but his fans are forgiving.
Jeff Hardy left WWE under some rather difficult circumstances some years ago but it’s about time to move on from the awful past. The building would erupt if Jeff Hardy entered the 2016 Royal Rumble.
