During the mailbag segment on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer was asked about the status of The Rock, Steve Austin, and Shawn Michaels for this year’s WrestleMania 32 event.
Meltzer noted that two ideas were presented to Michaels, with one being the referee gig for Triple H’s match against Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Meltzer would add that Austin’s role was locked in weeks ago.
In regards to The Rock, WWE is letting him call his own shots, and they are waiting on him to get back to them.
