Many big stars are returning on Raw, and it appears that on
(depending on where you are in the world) tomorrow’s episode of the A
show, another big name will be making their return to WWE television.
Word broke late last year that Mickie James had signed a reported three year deal after proving that she’s “still got it” against Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Toronto. Then we heard she was heading to SmackDown.
According to PWInsider (in their Elite, subscription-required section), we have less than 24 hours to wait for her debut on the blue brand. James is said to be headed to Memphis for the show tonight, where she’ll make her re-entrance to the WWE main roster.
No word on what she’ll be doing, but having her debut coincide with the steel cage Women’s title match between Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch will only fuel speculation that she’ll be revealed as La Luchadora. Though it clearly hasn’t been Mickie under the hood (that honor belongs to wrestling free agent Deonna Purrazzo, who just worked TNA’s television tapings last week, among other places), rumors have been around since almost the start of that angle saying the former Women’s champ would be added to the mix via that character.
