Why You Can't Miss Smackdown: June 28, 2013

Kane vs. Orton: Who will gain "All-Star" momentum?

On Raw, Daniel Bryan finally got his definitive victory over Randy Orton, proving he is not a “weak link” by making The Viper tap out in a brutal Street Fight — a contest hand-picked by the WWE Universe. With the submission specialist now relishing in his triumph, his longtime Team Hell No tag team partner, Kane, gears up to take on WWE’s Apex Predator tonight on SmackDown!
If anyone can strike back from such a hard-fought defeat, it is The Viper. Yet, both the nine-time World Champion and The Devil’s Favorite Demon have a great deal to gain from the showdown, just 16 days before the Money in the Bank All-Stars collide on pay-per-view. Considering Bryan is also part of that elite competition on July 14, is it possible he will find his way into the equation tonight?

What mayhem will be unleashed in the Dublin Street Fight?

Hold onto your shillelaghs, for the ongoing rivalry between Sheamus and Damien Sandow is about to kick into Celtic overdrive. That’s because the two fierce Superstars are scheduled to collide in a Dublin Street Fight, a showdown where absolutely anything goes and everything is possible.

While the natural advantage would have to go to The Celtic Warrior in such a uniquely Irish contest, there is simply no telling what carnage awaits either competitor. One thing is for sure: Tonight's match will be a far cry from Sandow's typical intellectual exercise.

Is "Fiesta Del Rio" destined to become an all-out slugfest?

Alberto Del Rio has announced he will throw a "Fiesta Del Rio" tonight in recognition of his recapturing of the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Payback. However, one Superstar who is definitely not in a festive mood is the former titleholder, Dolph Ziggler.
Poised for a World Title rematch at Money in the Bank, the determined Showoff has promised to crash the titleholder’s party. And if the volatile back-and-forth melee that has taken place between the two competitors since their last pay-per-view contest is any indication, everybody had better prepare for a wild ride.

Can "Samoan Charisma" counter The Shield?

Fresh off their huge No. 1 Contender’s Match win on Raw — which earned them the right to battle WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns for the illustrious championship gold — The Usos opted to help Christian repel a post-match assault by The Shield on WWE Main Event.
As a result, the trio will team together to take on The Hounds of Justice tonight. Even though Christian is no stranger to tag team excellence, it remains to be seen whether Captain Charisma and his Samoan partners can possibly overcome the practically unbeatable Shield, who, as a six-man unit, have only one clean loss on their record, to date.

“Miz TV” with special guest Paul Heyman

On Raw, CM Punk stood face-to-face with Paul Heyman for the first time since Brock Lesnar attacked The Straight Edge Superstar one week earlier.
Tonight, Heyman journeys to “Miz TV,” but will he choose to expound further on the situation with Punk? Or will he look ahead to Raw, where his client Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel will team with The Best in the World against The Prime Time Players? It will be interesting to see how the crafty businessman arranges the pieces leading up to such an important match.
Not one to be overlooked in this volatile situation is “Miz TV's” outspoken host. Considering it was The Miz’s fall that Axel arguably stole during the Intercontinental Triple Threat Match at WWE Payback, his opportunity to stir the pot tonight could prove to be truly “awesome.”
