Rob Van Dam's current WWE deal is set to expire after the Battleground PPV. WWE has already offered him another contract, which he has yet to accept. If he did, he would not be back until the first of 2014 anyway. As WWE signed him for a 90 days on/90 days off deal. So Van Dam will return by the Royal Rumble if he signs a new deal.
