Ryback interfered in CM Punk vs. Paul Heyman on behalf of Heyman at WWE Night of Champions. Curtis Axel had already been eliminated from the disqualification handicap elimination match when Punk was working over Heyman. Ryback ran out and took out Punk, then picked up Heyman to cover Punk. He then shouldered Heyman and carried him out of the building.
