Why You Can't Miss Smackdown ? | Oct. 11, 2013

Can the Rhodes brothers pull off another miracle?

After their career-saving victory over The Shield at WWE Battleground, Cody Rhodes & Goldust come barreling into the blue brand with another monstrous task laid out in front of them. On SmackDown, Cody & The Bizarre One will come face-to-face with fear itself, in the form of creepy Wyatt Family members, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan.

Undefeated since their eerie WWE debut, The Wyatts have dominated opponents on a truly frightening level, proving that their combined muscle is more than capable of backing up Bray Wyatt’s ominous talk.
But the Rhodes brothers are riding high after their own family affair on pay-per-view. Can they pull off another miraculous triumph — this time in the face of devilish competition? Find out tonight at 8/7 CT, only on Syfy!

Will R-Truth “make things right” with an Intercontinental Title victory?

After losing to Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel at WWE Battleground, the wheels of fortune began spinning again for R-Truth when, during Monday night’s Tag Team Match, The Rapping Superstar pinned Axel. Now, Truth will have another opportunity to challenge Paul Heyman’s guy for his illustrious title when the two go head-to-head tonight on SmackDown!
Can the former United States Champion walk away from Friday night’s best show with brand new gold around his waist?

What’s next for Big Show?

It was a huge night for The World’s Largest Athlete (and now former WWE employee) on Monday, and the giant-sized ramifications of Big Show’s earth-shattering actions at both WWE Battleground and Raw will be felt for weeks and months to come. These shockwaves will surely start tonight on SmackDown!
Since the moment WWE COO Triple H first launched his power play against the likes of Daniel Bryan and Big Show, Friday night has typically, and perhaps inadvertently, become the night for retribution — as evidenced by the first-ever 11-on-3 Handicap Gauntlet Match on the Sept. 20 episode and The Game’s purchase of Big Show’s mortgage one week ago.
Big Show may have already been fired, and there's speculation of charges being pressed against the giant, but will there be even more repercussions issued by the McMahons? Find out on Friday night's best show!

How will AJ’s absence affect the Divas division?

After Natalya’s dominant performance on Monday night — and, not to mention, the arrival of “Total Divas” Eva Marie and JoJo into active competition — what can the WWE Universe expect from the momentarily AJ Lee-less Divas division this week on the blue brand?

With the Divas Champion sidelined after suffering concussion-like symptoms following her successful WWE Battleground title defense, the pecking order in the resurgent Divas division is wide open to a shakeup. Can it now be said that the “Total Divas” have won the war waged by their unhinged adversary? Will AJ’s enforcer, Tamina, pick up the fight, as Big E Langston did when then-comrade Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion of his own? And, more importantly, who will emerge as the next No. 1 contender to AJ’s title?

Will Ryback address CM Punk’s Hell in a Cell challenge?

Now that the match between CM Punk and Ryback at Hell in a Cell is official, will “The Big Guy” hold court from the bully pulpit tonight on the blue brand to address The Second City Saint? Or will Ryback simply let his actions speak louder than words and take out his aggression on an unfortunate SmackDown soul?
For that matter, will advocate extraordinaire Paul Heyman have words for his former “best friend”? Find out tonight, only on Syfy!
