There is a theory going around "the management" that because Daniel Bryan is a smaller guy that is why the PPV buy rates have been down during this period. The feeling is that because Bryan isn't a "larger than life" superstar then he isn't what fans want.
As a result of this we have been seeing much more of other giants like Luke Harper, The Great Khali and Big Show. Big Show main eventing Survivor Series is WWE's way of trying to increase buy rates in a quick period.
So where does this leave Daniel Bryan?
As WWE have shown in the last two episodes of RAW they will be moving him down to upper/midcard with a feud with the Wyatts. After this however he should be showing some ruthless aggression in his matches which got him so popular in the first place.
