WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has been pulled from the WrestleMania 33
pay-per-view in which he was set to go against The Undertaker.
A number of insider sources are reporting that Vince McMahon decided late last night that Roman Reign's isn't the company's next big star following the poor reception he received from fans during the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday.
At one stage during the ceremony, McMahon reportedly got irate with the camera crew who kept putting Reigns on screen only for the fans to boo him out of the building.
Furthermore, Vince felt that having Reigns go up against The Undertaker in what could potentially be his last match wasn't a good idea. A WWE source noted that the decision by Vince wasn't taken likely but he felt it was in Roman's best interest.
WWE officials are reportedly scrambling to find Undertaker a surprise opponent for WrestleMania on Sunday. There is speculation Kane could be brought in for one final match with The Deadman. Kane is looking to retire from WWE this year following a recent report that he intends to run for Mayor in Tennessee in 2018.
Reigns left Orlando on a flight late last night and will meet with WWE officials next week to discuss his future.
