CM Punk is set to be in the World Title picture following his feud with Ryback and Paul Heyman. This should end after Survivor Series. Early word was that Punk would be in the World Heavyweight Title picture. But that may not be the case.
Rey Mysterio is set to return to take on Del Rio by Hell in a Cell. As a result, he could win the World Title back. There is a thought that Del Rio could have the title removed from him by Punk because of Mysterio, and the two could go at it without the title for a while.
If Punk is not put into the WHC hunt, that would mean the WWE Title picture. As of now, WWE is very much set on Daniel Bryan being involved within this picture until January. So it's doubtful he'd even make sense for this for now. The WHC hunt makes the most sense at the end of the day, and that is what the plan is believed to be currently.
