Low Ratings Solution

Due to the 2.8 RAW Rating this past week, Vince McMahon is said to be huge on getting more people to tune into RAW. So he is willing to pull some shock value similar to the Attitude Era to make that possible. Does that mean a new AE? Hell no. Vince just wants to make sure people have a reason to tune in. He will also be back this week most likely and there might be some interesting changes that make things more enticing for fans. Right now, RAW faces a big issue due to the Fall line-up of shows, plus Monday Night Football. With both FOX and NBC gaining the most views on Monday for the primetime slots, and ESPN continually killing it with football, RAW is once again suffering ratings issues during the Fall.

While the line-up is the main reason for the lose in viewership, it is also because DVR numbers aren't properly added to give credit to people watching a show. Thus, those who tape RAW are not added to the viewership rating. Also, due to the show covering 3 hours, and not 2, the math for the show has to count another hour. Which makes the total rating go down due to at least one of the hours being real low. So while the 2 hour RAW would get a 3.0 during this period at the lowest years back, the same amount of people watching could cut that down to 2.7 or so due to a lower hour.
