It has been an emotional few weeks for soon to be WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts. It was a few weeks ago on RAW that WWE announced he would be part of the 2014 Hall of Fame Class. It was less than a week ago that Roberts found out from doctors that there was cancer in his knee. It was just days ago that he underwent surgery in an effort to eliminate the cancer from his body. As Roberts recovers from surgery, it was announced earlier today that the man inducting him into the Hall of Fame is none other than Diamond Dallas Page.
For those that are not aware, DDP and DDP Yoga have a lot to do with Roberts still being alive. It was just a couple of years ago that DDP reached out to Roberts and offered him a lifeline. DDP and DDP Yoga gave Roberts the tools that he needed to exercise many of his substance abuse demons. With the help of DDP and the support of family, friends and fans Roberts was able to get sober and once again achieve a healthy lifestyle of living.
