-Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan
On Raw last night, Bryan challenged Triple H to a match in a backstage segment aired for the WWE App. Later on, Bryan went to the ring and said, “give the fans what they want. Daniel Bryan versus Triple H at Wrestlemania”.
Surely, that must have been painful for Bryan to say, as most believe that he should be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. If they want to save this, they should add the stipulation that Bryan gets into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match if he wins.
If they don’t get that, this match will get heat and it won’t be the good kind of heat that they want.
-Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro
If anyone’s noticed, JBL has thrown out teasers to this match in recent weeks questioning if Swagger is getting jealous of Cesaro’s success as a singles star. Those comments planted the seed for what happened on Raw last night.
Cesaro was in singles competition against the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Big E Langston and when it seemed as if Cesaro was moments away from securing a victory, Swagger jumped in the ring and attacked Big E to cause the disqualification.
There was some tension afterwards between Swagger and Cesaro, so it seems as if the WWE is building towards the breakup of this team and a potential match at Wrestlemania.
It seems that the storyline will be that Swagger’s jealousy will turn him on Cesaro, which will in turn, make Cesaro babyface. Even though Cesaro probably deserves a more prominent role on the show, this match does have the potential to be a good one.
-John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
The build to this match began when the Wyatt Family attacked Cena to cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at both the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber events.
The story continued this Monday on Raw when the Wyatts attacked Cena again in the ring. It seemed that during the match, Cena tweaked his knee. There were questions whether the knee injury was legitimate and for a while, reports claimed that it was.
The most recent update on the injury is that it is part of a storyline and that Cena is healthy. If Cena’s health is in question, the WWE could always give the fans another war between the Wyatt Family and the Shield. However, if Cena is healthy, that is not likely and he should be facing Bray Wyatt in singles action.
If victorious at Wrestlemania, this match will be a great way for Wyatt to get over as a top heel act in the WWE. Both men are a good promo, so the build to this should be fun.
