Mattel Releases Final CM Punk Action Figure?

Amidst all of the CM Punk drama, it has been a week since he has made the news in a big way. His appearance on the Talking Dead helped increase the viewership and also give wrestling fans a glimpse at what Punk is up to.
This news however, may not be what die-hard Punk fans are looking for. Mattel has a contract with WWE to release action figures for the younger demographic. WWE released more than one figure for the straight edge superstar and this could be their last one.
Despite leaving WWE, a new CM Punk action figure is featured in Mattel’s new WWE Elite 29 line-up. It’s being speculated that this could be Punk’s last WWE action figure. – Ringsidenews.com
Vince McMahon and HHH are living without their former-WWE champion at the moment. With Daniel Bryan blowing up the wrestling scene in a much bigger way than before, the fans seem to be living without Punk. Yes, the chants are there, but they aren’t nearly as prevalent as they used to be.
For those who watch Smackdown on a weekly basis, how were the chants this week? Just checking through Twitter showed the Punk chants occurred a few times and it actually made the viewers perturbed at what was going on.
He’s been gone for over a month now and fans still aren’t getting used to it or even accepting it. It is completely unknown when Punk comes back. If he ever does, think of it like your favorite football player or hockey player retired from the game.
Personally, I was a mess when Mario Lemieux retired for the Pittsburgh Penguins, but eventually I had to move on.
Luckily for us, Punk will return someday and it is professional wrestling. ANYTHING can happen at anytime. This Mattel action figure shows a glimpse at to what WWE is trying to do with Punk.
He may be returning sooner rather than later. It doesn’t guarantee it, but it’s a sign. Now, if they release a new t-shirt on WWE Shop, then things will get very interesting. The whole game is speculation of course, but that’s what is fun about pro wrestling.
